After spending a relaxing weekend in the mountains, lighting a fire and watching the leaves change, I am thinking a lot about fall and how I plan to decorate my table for Thanksgiving. I will be hosting my family in the mountains this year and am looking forward to setting the table and incorporating some rustic elements into my table design. I have already started collecting things from nature during my morning walks like pinecones and acorns, lichen and branches.
Here are just a few of the gorgeous tabletops that I have noticed around the blog-o-sphere that are inspiring the design for my own table this year. I particularly like the simple floral arrangement , below, created by stylist Karin Lidbeck on a galvanized tray she purchased at Terrain. She has a simple tutorial for creating the arrangement on her blog here.
