The scenery and styling for the movie Chocolat was absolutely breathtaking! It was filmed in the beautiful french town of Beynac-et-Cazenac. This very sensual movie is a classic for the lover of all things French. You could easily build a wardrobe around the clothes worn by the chic Vivanne or design a french kitchen with Chocolaterie Maya at the center of your inspiration board.

Can you see it? ~ a soft and elegant french blue from Farrow and Ball, mosaic tile from Ann Sacks, Carrera marble, copper Pots and reclaimed French bistro Antiques, an incredible French Lantern {of course} and sublime old French shutters in blue!

I love serving individual desserts when I entertain and have a fabulous recipe for individual chocolate molten cakes. The best part about the recipe is that before you pour in the batter to bake, you put a few dried cherries in the bottom. It is a delightful surprise!
